Hexagon Tray Workshop

Learn to make this beautiful, one-of-a-kind tray with Layne Halliday! Options include mahogany, cherry, walnut or maple, and your choice of several burls. Learn how to cut the sides and the tray bottom, glue and trim the inlay wood on to the base, then glue the sides to the bottom, sand and varnish. This will be a class in accurate cutting with tips on finishing the tray.

- Xacto knife with 2 new #11 blades
- Small hobby size paint brush
- Cutting pad or 5” x 5”x 1/4” ( no more than 1/2 inch) wood to cut on
- Pin vise, if you have one
- Tweezers
- Magnifiers
